Hummels Wharf. Mr. Harry A.
Schuck, son of S. B. Schuck is read
ing law with Hon. S. P. Wolverton,
Sunbury, Pa. Harry is a young
mail of good moral character, well
iiialified for the profession, and we
know he will succeed.
Miss Mary J. Hummel, a sister of
Mrs. S. B. Schuck died at Williams-
port, Pa., July 2nd. Miss Hummel
was a very intelligent young lady,
she was a faithful member of the
Presbyterian church, and was never
absent from her church or Sunday
School unlesH prevented by Hickness,
eaves many friends to mourn her
osh. As a token of respect many
choice flowers were placed upon her
asket, and while the casket was
owered to the grave showers of
flowers followed it. She was a chris
tian, and died very happy, she clos
ed her eves in death with the assur
ance of a happy home in Heaven,
caving a beautiful smile upon up
on her face. S.
