A farmer near Troxelvillc hired a
young man to work for him during
the season. Said farmer is erecting n
barn and his horses nre working hard
every day. Now, because said farmer
had mercy on his horses ami therefore
refused to furnish said young man
with n horse every Saturday evening
to go to see his dulciun who lives in
tho vicinity of New Iterlin, the
voting muu left his employer iu the
busiest time. Young men, you should
not go so far nway from your sweet
hearts to hire out, if you have no "rig"
of your own, unless you intend to go
it on foot aud alone. Don't depend
on other people to furnish you with n

your best girl every Saturday night.
