The weather has been beautiful during the past ten days and I hope it may continue so. We had a tine refreshing shower on Saturday evening, accompanied by vivid lightning and heavy thunder. The growing wheat looks as promising as I have ever seen it at this season of the year, and a plenti ful harvest may be expected.
