We Are Progressing
The wise man has to
There is an old proverb that a wise man changes his mind, but a fcol neer does,
change bis mind to keep up with the times.
Your grandfather thought he was putting on style when he took bis best girl out horseback riding. The
young man today would like to have a six-cylinder car for his lady love. The smart man of today will be con

all. Eipecially is this true of financial matters, modern banking. Few people keep their money bid about the
house or run the risk of carrying it on their person. They follow the modern plan, keep their funds in a reliable
bank like ours and pay by check. It's the safe, modern, convenient way.

Expression of Appreciation.
To the Voters of Fulton Coun

I wish to express in a public
way my deep appreciation of the
loyal support my friends in all
parties gave me on November

my supporters are to be found in
the ranks of both parties, and in
all the churches and fraternal
organizations of the county.
Therefore I shall feel it my duty
to represent all the people of Ful
ton County to the best of my
ability. I want the voters of the
county to feel free to express to
me their views on any questions
coming before the legislature
that will affect the interests of
Fulton County. I shall need your

One of the novelties on camp last
week.
During the quarantine, the Y.
M. C. A. and Y. W. C. A. had
arranged to have young women
in Atlana send little presents to I
some of the soldiers confined to !
barracks. A spirited argument
sprang up between the two men
concerned as to which should
write and thank the donor for a
beautiful package they received.
As words could not settle the
question, the boys agreed to don
the boxing gloves and fight it out
for the honor. The bout took
place as a feature during one of
the regular outdoor boxing enter
tainments and resulted in a draw,
and both wrote, enclosing their
etters in the same envelope.
