Foote at Hyndman announced the dnath of her husband Iuter meut in the Presbyterian ceme tery in the Valley on Wednesday. James was born and lived in Wells Valley sbout fifty years. He moved to Everett where he lived a short time and then went to Hyndman, where he spent the temainder of his life. Hon. S. W. Kirk organized an auxiliary to the Red Cross at the Valley M. E church On account of se vice i in o her churches, the attendance was not as large as it otherwise would have been.
