Teachers Want More Money.
At the closing session of the
Cumberland County teachers'
institute last Friday, the teach
ers passed a resolution to ask the
legislature for an additional ap
propriation and that the mininum
salaries of forty dollars for pro
visisional certificates and fifty,
for professional and normal school
diplomas be increased.
