Savannah Stevens of Big Cove Tannery, Mary Kelso and Mrs. John Pedden and daughter Mary of Knob3ville, were in town yesterday. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clouser, of Carlisle, spent a few days last week visiting in the homes of Mrs. Susan Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Clouser. Mrs. Nettie Truax and Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Crouse went over to Charlestown in C. M. Ray's car last Sunday and visited Mr. J. H Truax and family. George and John Magsam went to Huntingdon, Pa., Tuesday to attend the funeral of their broth er Peter. We do not have any particulars connected with his death. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Reisner returned to their home in Ha Rerstown last Friday after having spent Thanksgiving in the home of the latter's mother, Mrs. Josephine Sloan. Misses Edith and Nellie Boll, of Foltz, spent a few days during the past week visiting their uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Christmas Shimer and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Clouser. Mrs. Rose Dalbey is going to Chambersburg to-day, where t he will visit her son William, and then go on to Pittsburgh and spend the winter with her laughter Minnie, Mrs. Stitt. Hon. D. H. Patterson and amily have removed from their ild home at Webster Mills and aken apartments in the Post )ffice Building, where they will eside until the completion of heir new house in South Exten-ion. Last Saturday evening two ersons were run down on the treets of Chambersburg by lutomobiles.
