Perhaps your kidneys are "in

Doan's Kidney Pills are for
weak kidneys.
Local evidence prove their mer
it. Mrs. Luanda Clevener, Wa

"1 was in poor health for some
time. My back ached badly and
I couldn't do my housework. I
had dizzy spells and chills and
was annoyed by the kidney secre
tions. Often swelling appeared
under my eyes, and I was very
nervous at night. I was troubled
by rheumatic twinges. I finally
used Doan's Kidney Pills, pro
cured at Trout's Drug Store, and
since then I haven't been trou

That Citizens Meeting.
Because I was chairman of the
Citizens meeting held two weeks
ago when about two hundred ad
ult people were present and be
cause a number of us who were
active in the first meeting have
been asked about the meeting
last Friday night, a great many
who are heartily in faver of the
movement asked what we did,
and a few who are apparently
glad to see that the citizens do
not get together in civic right
eousness and improvement ask
ing in the spirit of sarcasm, are
the reasons for this personal an
swering of the question why the
meeting was not held last Friday
night.
First, not many people knew
that there was to be a meeting
last Friday night. Second, no
definite program of subjects for
discussion was made out and an
nounced to the public.
It is true that our County news
papers being always loyal to such
movements did their best to use
the short time for announcement
of the meetings but when the
writer of this article was told by
several people that they very
seldom get time to look into their
papers before Saturday then at
once it was clear that they knew
nothing of the meeting to beheld
on Friday night.
It is true that the excellent
motion made by Rev. Yearick in
the public meeting held two
weeks ago was clear and distinct
for another meeting the follow
ing Friday night but the motion
was made after a motion came
for adjournment and'only a few
of the people heard it. I
The writer of this article was
out of town all last week and
when he was told that no special
posters, dodgers and bell ringing
and personal work by a number
of people to get 'Others out was
done during the week it was
very apparent why no meeting
could be held. i
Another meeting will be an
nounced and held in the near
future is the assurance given by
a large number of the citizens.
