Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Finiff, of
Pittsburg, left for their home
Monday, after paving spent a
week with friends in this com
munity. Mr. Finiff is assistant
yardmaster in the employ of the
P. U. R. at Bed mans Mills, and
has a record of not having missed
a day's work Sundays as well
as week days Hince the 16th of
December, 1007,. until he started
home on this trip Tuesday of last
week.
Dr. II. S. Wishart was born on
the old Wishart Homestead in
Wells Valley on the 19th of May,
1S32. The Doctor made it suit
to spend May 19. 1100 the 77th
anniversary of his birth, at 'be
old home now owned and oc
cupied by his orother, Captain
llarvev Wishart. To celcbrato

and John, and his sister, Miss
Sarah Ca'.horine, were thero, in
addition to Harvey and wife and
dinner was served in the room in
which the Doctor "was born. It
was a red letter day for the Doc
tor, and a very delightful occa
sion for every ono present.
