Take your sour stomach jr may be you call it Indigestion, Dyspepsia, Gastritis or Catarrh of Stomach; it doesn't matter take your stomach trouble right with you to your Pharmacist and ask him to open a 50 cent case of Pape's Diapepsin and let you eat one 212-grain Triangule and see if within live minutes there is left any trace of your stomach mis ery. The correct name for your trouble is Pood Fermentation food souring; the Digestive or pans become weak, there is lack ot gastric juice; your food is only half digested, and you become af fected with loss of appetite, pres sure and fullness after eating, vemiting, nausea, heartburn, gnpiug in bowels, tenderness in the pit of stomach, bad taste in mouth, constipation, pain in limbs, sleeplessness, belching of gas, biliousness, sick headache, nervousness, dizziness and many other similar symptoms. It your appetite is tickle, and nothing tempts you, or you belch gas or if you feel bloated after eating, or your food lies like a lump of lead on your stomach, you can make up your mind that at tha bottom of all this there is but one cause fermentation of undi gested food. Prove to yourself, after your next meal, that your stomach is as good as any; that there is noth ing really wrong. Stop this fer mentation and begin eating what you want without fear of discom fort or misery. Almost instant relief is waiting for you. It is merely a matter of how soon you take a little Diapepsin. Set that standard accord ing to your own income and your own judgment of what is best for you and yours. This irying to live up to the standard of others is what destroys the happiness of many households. Families with an income of 1,000 a year make a desperate elTort to live up to the standard of those with 1,500, and those with 1,500 try to imi tate those with 2,000 a year. We have such a foolish fear of what our neighbors will do or think or say. We have not the moral force to tlx our own standard and live up to it as we ought. The cour age of oue's convictions the inde pendence of one's sense of what is best for one's individual selt and family, are valuable posses sions of this age of artificiality and striving for effect. "It is del ghtful to be rich," sajs the heroine of a very mod em novel; "but I sometimes won der wneiner it is not more ex quisite to be poor, to do things one can't really afford!" (There is more than a dash of truth in this phrase, for "the things we can't afford" are pre ciseJy the things which we imag ine will be more amusing than the ordinary routine of life. There is a sense of high adventure in squandering money when your finances are low, and you give a hohtage to fortune when you ex pend your last available 50 note. In these breathless modern times there is a consensus ot opinion that nothing succeeds less than thiift, while pai simony, especial l.y in a young man, is looked upon as a vice. One recalls a cheery individual who, when he is de pressed and in a condition which he laconically describes as "stony," always goes out and buys something expensive, or gets up a dinner party. This, he says, is a sure incentive to work and renewed efforts whereas he would sink into depression and apathy if he had not made the protest against Fortune of squan dering his last penny. The very rich, one is convinc ed, having no delight at all in spending money. They write a big cheok with no more emotion than they address an envelope, and the. spending of a thousand dollars does not afford them a quarter the delight which the ac quisition of some foolish trinket does to one of the leaner kind. But, when all's said, it is well to think twice, before spending money recklessly. NEhDMORh. The people in this locality are getting the ground ready for corn planting.
