A letter from Mrs. Louie lin

last Thursday, says they had very
nice weather all through the fall
and up to within a few days of
the time she wrote. She says
the thermometer registered 10
degrees below zero last Wednes
day. A great many people have kid
ney and bladder trouble, mainly
due to neglect of the occasional
pains in the back, slisrht rheuma
tic pains, urinary disorders, etc.
Delay in such cases is dangerous.
Take DeWitt's Kidney and Blad

back, backache, rheumatic pains
and all kidney and bladder trou

get DeWitt's Kidm:y and Bladder
Pills. Accept no substitute.
Regular size 50c. Sold by
Trout's drug store.
A letter from Mrs. Emma Ken
dall Henderson, of Richmond,
Kansas, dated Wednesday of last
week, says that on that day the
thermometer was registering 4
degrees below zero. It was the
first severe weather they had had
this winter, for up to that time
the farmers had been able to
plough almost every day.
COAL ALL-RIGHT.
Waynesboro Man Says Magsam Coal is
Excellent White Ash.
The Waynesboro Record says:
"John W. Lehman, Waynes
boro, was convinced on a visit to
Fulton county, Thursday, that
the long claimed existence of
good coal in that county is now
an established fact.
"Into the side of a hill, close by
a creek, not more than a mile
and a half east of McConnells
burg, and about 200 feet from
the pike, there has been dug a
shaft tifty feet in length. At a
point twenty five feet under the
surface of the hill a vein of white
ash coal has been found that is
seven feet in depth.
"Mr. Lehman when a resident
of Shippensburg, for a Lumber
of years, handled coal and he
says the quality of the Fulton
county discovery is excellent
white ash."

Simple Recipe for Home-Made Rheuma
tism and Kidney Cure.
To relieve the worst forms of
Rheumatism, take a teaspoon ful
of the followiug mixture after
each meal and at bedtime:
Fluid Extract Dandelion, one
half ounce; Compound Kargon,
one ounce; Compound Syrup
Sarsaparilla, three ounces.
These harmless ingredients
can be obtained from our home
druggists,' and are easily mixed
by shaking them well in a bottle.
Relief is generally felt from the
first few doses.
This proscription forces the
clogged ud, inactive kidneys to
filter and strain from the blood
the poisonous waste matter and
uric acid, which causes Rheuma
tism. , As Rheumatism is not only the
most painful and torturous dis
ease, but dangerous to life, this
simple recipe will no doubt be
greatly valued by many sufferers
here at homo, who should at onco
prepare the mixture to get this
relief.
It is said tint a person who
would take this prescription re
gularly, a dose or two daily, or
evjn a few times a week, would
never have . serious Kidney or
Urinary disorders or Rheuma
tisra.
Cut this out and preserve it
Good Rheumatism prescriptions
which re illy relieve are scarce,
indeed, and. whoa you need it,
yon want it badly.
