and their little son and daughter
Albert and Edith, of Madara,

week among their Pulton county
friends. Prank has been doing
some hutning and succeeded in
getting nineteen squirrels, one
wild turkey and a pheasant.

John H. Miller, son of William
Miller, of Taylor township, and a
prominent lawyer in the city of
Chicago, is an independent candi
date for the legislature, on the
Anti-Saloon ticket in that city,
with excellent prospects of win
mug the election. John is a
former Pulton county school
teacher, who has made good in
the practice of law, and is now
recognized as one of the Windy
City's prominent citizens.

Great flocks of wild geese have been
passing southward over this county
during the last few days. Ktonday
