Morse Sloan, who had beeD
spending the month of February

Local Institute.
A local institute was held at
No. 1 school iu Wells township,
Friday evening, February 2 1st.
Dr. R. B. Campbell was president
and L L. Cunningham secretary.
In addition to the usual singing,
two subjects were discussed,
namely, "The relation of the High
School to the Common School."
How Can We Best Obtain the
Standards of an Ideal School'"
and "Home Study.
Two home teachers, two visit
ing teachers, and four citizens,
and a lot of young folks made up
the attendance. For the small
number of teachers present, the
institute was interesli ig.
