not been heard for several days,
the roads being too bad to move.

At Harvest Home.
Capt.G.W.Skinner and Charles
Walter, Esq.", have returned from
attending the Harvest Home cele
bration near McConnellsburg.
The celebration was held on
Thursday but a heavy ram kept
all but about 500 people away.
Capt. Skinner and Mr. Walter
were both on the program for
speoches but neither got a chance
to unload, as the Captain puts it.
That evemng the McConnells
burg Hand gave the distinguish
ed guests a sereuade at tho Ful
ton House and Mr. Walter made
a good address of thanks.
