New Cars for Automobiles.
The Pennsylvania Kailroad
Company has placed an order with
the Altoona car shops for one
hundred tox cars of a new stylo
which are intended exclusively
for the shipments of automobiles.
The shipment of automobiles has
become so extensive that it was
necessary for the company to do
sign a car that would meet all the
requirements of this class of
freight. The cars will be sent to
points where there is demand for
them as soon as they are turned
out of the shops.
Under the new law governing
the election of road suiervisors
and detining their duties, every
taxable person ih a township
must pay ft least one dollar road
tax whether he has taxable prop
erty or not. The minimum road
tax will thus bo one dollar.
