We commend Mr. Black's en tepnse, and if improvements do not take a turn up there soon, there will be a pull for the Court House up in that part of the town. BURNT CABINS. The M. E. festival on Saturday evening was well attended. The quilt that the ladies had put up lor sale with five hundred names on sold for if 25, Rev. J. A. White man was the buyer. Proceeds go to pay off parsonage debt. Rev. Mcllnay, wife and daugh ter, who had beeu visiting Mrs. Mcll nay's parents, G. S. DoraJ and wife, left for their home at Spring Mills on Tuesday.
