KNOli SEVILLE.
Tne many friends of Franklin
Hershey will regret to learn that
he is dangerously ill. On account
of the swollen condition of his
body and limbs he is obliged to
spend most of his time day and
night in an arm chair. Mr
Hershey has passed the eighty
second milestone in his journey
through life.
There is a scarlet fever scare
in this community just now. The
directors haveordered the Knobs
ville school closed. As yet there
has but one case developed that
of Chester Long and that is a
very mild form.
Mr. John Hamil is elated over
the prospect of being elected
school director. He Is already
serving the township as overseer
of the poor, and he thinks if he
could add to it the salary of school
director he would be well enough
fixed to retire from business.
