Harvey and Mrs. Black will be at home in Ebensburg in the near future. Last Thursday morning a freight running east picked up a big buck deer, weighing 230 pounds, just west of Huntingdon. The animal, it is supposed, came down off the ridge to get water and was struck by a west bound passenger train. The deer was noticed by a brakesman who had the train stopped and the boys placed it on a car and took it to Harrisburg.
