schools of Huntingdon county, de
livered an address for the P. O.
S. A. Camp No. SfiO, which con
ducted the memorial services at
Sideling Hill Baptist Church.
Tho house was lilled until stand
ing loom was at a premium, yet
he held the closest attention of
tho audience for over an hour,
bringing repeated applause. He
traced the growth of the Republic
from its birth, and painted in
glowing language the achieve
ments and bravery of tho Ameri
can soldier. The address was
full of patriotism, free from any
tinge of politics, and one of tho
best cvor delivered in that section.
