May of Everett. who, some time ago. was called to Bedford to answer the charsre of selling liquor in his drug store, wiu have to pay $300 to the coun ty treasurer. He doubtless thought that that was the cheapest and easiest way of settling the difficulty in which he found himself, although it was declared that in doing so he did not admit that he was guilty of the charge.
