Remember, friend Job, it is an old saying "The smurtest louktn' feller May be a retf'lur fool, And you're alius kicked the hardest lly the meekest lookin' MULK" Our citizens manifested quite an interest in the bridge view at the creek east of here last Fri day. We venture the assertion that there is no place in Fulton county, where a bridge is needed as badly as hero. It is on the di rect route for the people of Bel fast, Bethel, Union, a part of Thompson and Brush Creek to reach the county seat. Many times when people of these dis tricts wish to attend court or go to McConnellsburg, they are pre vented on account of high water at this place. Then too, if we have the county commissioners in the southern part of the coun ty they should have access to the county capital at all times. Give us the bridKeJ remember that no letitiou has been presented to the court with a larger list of names and most of them property hold ers and heavy taxpayers. CURED HEMORRHAGES OF Til 13 LUNGS. A man in ; Pittsburg where he used to live, had a wife who was complaining of dyspepsia, and she heard of a certain remedy that was put up in capsules. Her husband brought them home iu a pill box. At the same time he brought a dozen collar buttons made of a metallic composition that looked very much like pearl, and the di uggist gave him a pill box sim ilar to that in which the capsules were put to carry them in. He took both boxes home, handed them to his wife, and the same day she began to take the medi cine. After she had taken twelve doses she was entirely cured, and advertised the wonderful remedy all over the neighborhood. About this time her husband lost his collar buttou, and, opening his pill box, found it empty. A brief investigation showed that tho capsules iu the other pill box were still there, and that his wife had swallowed twelve composition collar buttons, two a day for six days, and had been entirely cured of dysixjpsia.
