On Friday afternoon a severe
storm in which was mnch hail,
passed over Tod township, caus
ing considerable damage. Near
the residence of Mrs. Matilda
Jfelman stood a largo willow tree
to which a dog was tied. The
lightning struck the tree and
kitlod the dog.
