at Jamison Cicy is having the
structure torn down and the lum
ber moved to Scran ton where it
will be used in the construction of
hours.
Randall and Schaad Bros, have
opened a live-foot vein of coal be
low the one they have worked out.
The vein they have been working
was from 30 inches to three feet.
The new vein is a harder and
better coal. Preparations will
immediately be made to mine the
coal in the lower vein.
A Forksville correspondent to
the New Albany Mirror says: The
road up the Loyal Sock creek from
Forksville to Laporte has for some
time been almost impassable, main
ly through neglect. The mail car

' business to occupy the attention of

cations for hotel licenses.
