, bride has been one of this county's
j most successful school teachers for

! is one of Bradford county's well
known business men. They have

for a happy, prosperous future.
They will reside at Liberty Cor
ners.
Jeremiah Deegan tlied at his
home in Dushore, Saturday after
noon, March 21, aged 74 years, 0
months and 24 days. The funeral
and interment was at St. Basil's
church on Tuesday, and was at
tended by a large concourse of
friends and relatives.
Mr. Deegan was one of the oldest
residents of Du shore where for
years lie was engaged in the hotel
business and later at Lopez which
interest he sold in 1898, and since
had been leading a retired life in
j Dushore.
Jacob Yagger, aged 36 years,
; employed as a wood chopper for
j the Trexler and Turrel Lumber
: company at Ricketts, met a pecu
j liar death while at work 011 Mon
day morning. Jle was at work 011
| the mountain back of Ricketts.
With a. number of men he was en
gaged in cutting down a large tree
1 which stood 011 the side of the
! mountain, 'l'he last cut was made
I and Vagger, not noticing the tree
falling, was struck upon the head
and instantly killed. The deceas
|ed was well liked by his fellow
workmen, all of whom mourn his
death. Ife has a sister living at
Jamison City and a sister in New
York.
The remains were taken to Ber
nice where funeral services were
held and interment made in the
Catholic cemetery.
