Peters, who underwent an operation in Dr.Donaldson's pri vate sanitarium at Williamsport some time ago is improving nicely, and should she continue to do so, will he able to return home in a short time. Mrs. Edwin Carpenter of Nord inont is at the Williamsport hos pital whore she was operated upon for appendicitis last week. She is reported to be recovering. Mrs. James Hawley died at her 1 home at Masten, Thursday night of last week, convulsions being the cause of her death. Mrs. Hawley before her marriage was Miss Rose Parrish of Sliunk.
