Mary Gallagher, widow of I the late Michael Gallagher, died j Saturday evening at the home of ' her daughter Mrs. Phillip Dormer !at Ringdale, after a seven weeks | illness of iuHamation of the bowels. Mrs. Gallagher was born in Ire land, and came to this country i when she was twenty years of age, | landing in Canada from where she ! proceeded to Philadelphia, and I some years afterward with her lnis j hand came to this county seltling on the farm where she spent the last 50 years of her life ami where she breathed her last at the ripe old age of more than 80 years. Mrs. Gallagher possessed a remark able constitution. She had never been seriously ill until she was seized with the malady that caused her death, ami only for her won derful vitality was she able to re sist the ravages of the disease for seven weeks during which time she took very little nourishment and unable to sleep. The funeral was held f>n Tuesday from St. Basil's church at Dushore. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in St. Basil's cemetery. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Phillip Dormer of Ringdale; Miss Ellen Gallagher of Philadel phia.; Mrs. James P. Walsh of Over ton: Mrs. A. 11. Buslihausen of Laporte, and Mr. James Gallagher of Philadelphia.
