The Chemical, factory which has been closed for repairs for the past two weeks will commence running again next week. The solicitor for the Williamsport Sun was in town last week, looking after the interest of that paper. Hugh Hess wears his hat on one side these days; it's a boy. H. P. Judge Dunham has handed down a decision delcaring the law of 1897 relating to forest tires, constitu tional. He holds that tlie owner of property Iteing destroyed and the men he may call on for assis tance in fighting fire are not en-' titled to reimbursement front public ' funds, bHt that constables or firei wardens and such men as they may ! call on for assistance are lawfully entitled to such reimbursement.
