The remarks of Hastings and Beaver
were excellent. Latta was too
severe on the Democratic party to
take well in old Lycoming and Jack
didn't say much of anything. The
audience numbered something like
three thousand. The opera house
was crowded wit.h people. The Fisk
band furnished music for the
occasion.
The Laporte Tannery will shut
down on Saturday night for repairs.
Mr. Flynn thinks that it will take a
week or ten days to make the needed
repairs.
