Since all the Philadelphia papers
are pretty well satisfied with the
make-up of the Republican State
ticket, the Democrats could save
both time and money by indorsing
it.
There are nine hundred Republi
cans in Sullivan county. Each cne
of them, who are not already sub
scribers to the REPUBLICAN, should
send in their name at once. We are
increasing our list very rapidly and
we venture to say, that by the Ist
of August our subscription book
will contain the names of several
hundred more subscribers than
either of our contemporaries. Our
old book is filled and we have been
compelled to order a new one.

is unreasonable for you to ask.
