Political kickers are apt to regret their kick in the future, hence a careful study of the situation should be made. A fair nomination is sup posed to have the support of the party. The new State of Wyoming has gone Republican by a large majority. The entire ticket was elected. The Governor by over 2.000 majority r.nd the State Legislature will be Republican by 23 majority on joint ballot. President Harrison signed the anti-lottery bill last Friday and it is now a law. This is interesting information and It is to be hoped that the provisions of the law will be strictly enforced. If the lottery companies or the willing dupes of the swindlers persist in violations of it the punishment which the law provides should not be slow in visiting them. 1) USII OltE ITEMS. I The improved method of fastening strings of Pianos, invented by us, is one of tho most im portant improvements ever made, making the instrument more richly musical in tune, more durable, and less liable to get out of tone. Both the Mason k Hamlin Organs and Pianos excel chiefly in that which is the chief excellence in any musical instrument, quality of tone. Other thirds, though important, aro much less so than this. An instrument with unmusical tones cannot be good. Illustrated catalogues of new styles, introduced this season sent free. MASON & HAMLIN OKOAN ANP PIANO CO., BOSTON. NEW YORK.
