Peasant Rioters Make Trouble on
King Charles Estates.
VIENNA, March 28 — Dispatches
from Czernowltz, on the Moldavian
frontier, say that conditions In certain
parts of Roumsnla are still most seri
ous. Grave disorders are reported to
have broken out on the estates of
King Charles at Polaua, and troops
have been sent to the royal domains.
Large nuwbers of peasant rioters
have been killed in conflicts near Bral-
la and Papulescha, and it appears that
many rioters on trying to enter the
town of Galatz were repulsed by sol-
diers near the viliage of Losaven! with
a loss of twenty killa). The peasants
then turned thelr attention on Hraila.
Sanguinary fighting Is reported also at
YViasta, near Stareskle and at Cralova.
The number of persons killed dally
Is growiug evormously. Three hundred
persons have been killed In an eu
coutiter between peasants and the mili
tury at Stareskle, and there have wen
two bloody battles at Mastauestir, in
oné of which Lieutenant Jonflescu lost
liz life. The peasants tore the body of
the lieutenant to pleces and danced
