Recently a Sayre merchant invest- ed his cash in several thousand shares of mining stock. To be exact he pur- chased 4000 shares for which he paid the mangnificent sum of one cent per share amovnting in all to forty dol- lars. The stock is of the dividend paying variety and the other day the Sayre man received a dividend amounting to about four dollars. The company in which he Invested his for- ty dollars Is alleged to be located at Denver, Col, and as the Sayre man has a friend who is at the head of A big realty and trust concern loca- ted in that city he decided to write to him, and asked for information con- cerning the mining company.
