Y. i Daa Siz:—I am 78 years old and Lave had the hay fever for the last I have tried many doctors and remedies and found only temporary relief. Yoar agent left a box of Turoer's Inflammacine on trial at my house and the first application had the most soothing effect. From the rec- ond or third application it retarded the sneezing and discharge from my nose and eyes completely. After one week's treatment it did me more good than any remedy I ever tried. I now realize that I am perfectly free from hay fever. If I could not get another box of it, I would not take ten times the cost of the box for it. I would cheerfully Reeuminanl itto all sufferers yin ha 3 1 fever. 114 Vi St, ate, Pa. I commencsd using Inflammacine for goitre and in less than a month I could see a great change in my neck. Weber's B 133 Lockhart St. REGULAR MEETING OF VILLAGE TRUSTEES W.S. & A Will Place Fenders on Its Cars—Village Will Op- pose the Removal of Tracks on Chemung street - Waverly—The village trustees held a ‘meeting last night, those present being President Lawrence; Trustees Farley, Howard and Brown. A communication was received from the W.S, & A trac- tion company stating that 15 sets of fenders had been ordered from the largest manufacturer of fenders in the United States, and that all the cars would be equipped with them as soon as they arrived. These fenders are the same kind that are used in most cities of the country. This is a result of the action of the Waverly trustees and the Sayre council requesting the company to place the fenders on its cars, The sum of $236 25 was ordered paid on the bonds of the Cayuta hose house, The sum of $125 was appropri- ated for the use of the fire depart- ment at the annual inspection, This inspection is required each year by the state law. The amount usually appropriated has been $300, but owing to the Valley convention, $125 will prove ade- quate this year. A petition for sidewalks on Lib erty street was laid over until next meeting. An exempt certificate was granted to W. E, Robbins of the Hook and Ladder company. The attention of the trustees was called to the fact that the W, S. & A traction company had ap- plied to the state railroad commis- sion for permission to take up its tracks on Chemnng street. A resolution was passed stating that it was the opinion of the board that it would be against the best interests of the village to re- move the tracks from that street, and directing the president to take the necessary steps to oppose the request of the company, and pre- vent the removal of the tracks, The bid of S. C. Smith for put. ting down the concrete gutter on Fulton street at 24 cents per foot, was actepted. The only other bid was from the Macafee Concrete Co., of Athens, at 29 cents, A number of sidewalks in difler- ent parts of the town were ordered repaired or newly laid.
