This morning the Italians in Sayre received a reply from the ambassador in which he goes over the situation and gives theni assurance that they will be prot in the future, The am- bassador’ says that if the local authorities are umable to provide protection the United States will, even if it is necessary to call out the troops. There is no likelihood, however, of the trouble here reach- ing a point where it will be neces sary to call upan the federal authorities. Thus far Sayre has been able to control those who are desirous of driving the foreigners out, and itis not thought that there will be another outbreak. Should there be another attempt at mob violence those who participate in it will find the local police authorities amply prepared, and it is up to the law abiding citizens to give the officers all the support that they need, 7 LOOMIS OPERA HOUSE Next we attraction at the Loomis O House will be the New York Standard Stock in a reportoire of new plays never bes fore seen in Waverly.
