Waverly—At the home of “the
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.W
Myers, Division street, South Wa-
verly, at 8:30 o'clock last evening,
occurred the marrage of their
daughter, Miss Cora, to Harry A
Storms. The ceremony, was per-
formed by Rev. George A Briggs
in the presence of about twenty
relatives and immediate friends.
After a wedding supper Mr, and
Mrs. Storms left on a late train for
New ¥ork On their return they
will take up their residence with
the bride's parents, Mrs. Storms
is a young lady with many friends
and for some time has been book-
keeper at Joha H. Murray's coal
office. Mr. Storms is the ‘son of
J. W. Storms of South Waverly
and a popujar employe of the W.
S & A. Traction Company.

nue; thence northerly on Lehigh avenue

to Lehigh avenue; thence northwesterly
on Lehigh avenue to Cayuga street;
thence westerly on Cayuga street to
Wilbur avenue, all in the Borough of
Sayre, State of Pennsylvania, in accord-
ance with an Act of the General Assem-
bly of Peansylvania, approved May 16th,
1880, entitled “An Act to enable Bor-
oughs to construct sewage systems,
assess and collect the cost thereof:” and

Ordinance No. 97
An ordinance authorizing the increase
of the indebtedness of the Borough of
Sayre, Pa, by the sum of tweaty thoo-
sand dollars,
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the Burgess
and Town Council of the Boro. of Sayre,
Pa. and it is hereby ordained by the
authority of the same: That twenty-
five bonds of the denowination of one
thousand dollars each, bearing interest
at the rate of four per cent per annum,
interest payable semi-annually, April
Ist and October 1st, of each and every
year, at the office of the treasurer of said
borough, be issued. Said bonds to be
nambered from one to twent -five, in-
clusive, and bond No, 1, of said issue be
mide payable on the 1st diy of October
1011, and the rest of said bonds be paya-
ble, one each year on October 1st, in the
order of their number antl alt are paid.
And that the proceeds derived from the
sale of said bonds be used for the par-
pose of payiug off or redermiog five
thousand dollars of the present indebt-
edness of said Boroagh, and so much of
the balance as may be necessary, shall
ba used for the purpose of constructing
the trunk line of a sewer for the sewer
system authorized to be constructed by
suid Boroagh,
See, 2. That a tax of one millon the
dollar of the assessed valuation of the
taxable property of sald Borough, be
and the s me is hereby levied each and
every year, commenciog in 1007, for the
payment of said indebtedness and inter-
est, until the same are paid,
Bec. 3. That the atlorneys of sald
Boroagh shall p.epare a suitable form
for the bouds hereby (and in accordance
with the Acts of Assembly relating there-
to) suthorized to be issued and submit
the same to the Finance Committee of
the Borough Councll, for approval, and
when the same 1 be approved by
said committee, the sald committee shall
have the same engraved and prepared,
and an order shall be drawn on the
treasurer of said borough, to pay the
expenses thereof,
Sec. 4. Thatthe Burgess of the said
Borough of Sayre, is hereby authorized
and empowered to sign the said bonds
and coupons attached thereto, the same
to be conntersi by the Secretary of
the ssid Borough Council, who shall at-
fix the corporate seal of said Borough
thereto. -
Sec, 5. That the Finance Committee
of the sald Borough*Council, is hereby
authorized and empowered to advertise
for bids for the male of sald bonds and
also to sell the same to the highest bid-
der or bidders; at a price not less than
the par value thereol,
Sec. 6. That all bonds issued by vir-
tue of this ordina-ce and the Acts of
Assembly authorizing the same shall be
and Becoms a part of the funded debt of
the said Borough of Sayre, and for the
payment of the principal of the sald
bounds, and the semi.aanual interest ac-
cralag thereon, the faith, honor and
credit of maid Borough of Sayre, are
hereby pledged.
