Waverly—Word has been res
ceived by Mrs. James Nolan that
her brother, James Reynolds, had
died at Schnectady. He was a
blacksmith and was well known in
Waverly, where he formerly lived,
and at Sayre where he has worked
in the Lehigh shops. No definite
information as to the cause of his
death has been received.

Waverl y—Four individuals were
so unfortunate as to fal! into the
hands of the police Saturday night.
Three of them were plain drunks
and were allowed to go Sunday’

a fight but was taken into custody
before he got very far and was

PAINFULLY INJURED
Waverly—Amos White, of 203
Howard street, a turner at the fur-
niture works, was painfully injured
last week. The stick flew out of
the lathe, and his arm came in con-
tact with the dog which penetrated
his arm. The belt slipped off and
saved him from what might have
been a serious accident.
ULSTER WON BALL GAME
Waverly—In an 11 inning game
last Saturday the Ulster baseball
team defeated the Waverly ag-
gregation by a score of 11 to 10.
The game was interesting and the
result in doubt until the end. A |
game will be played with the
Athens team next Saturday.
