LOCAL NEWS James W. Northrup, Jr, was ar- rested at Lamokin on Saturday by Fish Warden Shoemaker on a charge of taking trout below the legal size. Northrup was taken before Justice Orcutt at Towanda and claimed that the trout were taken alive for the purpose of stocking a trout pond a “Grit, the Newsboy,” pleased a big crowd at the park theatre last night.
