HOME WAS DESTROYED
Athens—Ralph Toz-r, Esq, yes-
|terday received a letter from Miss
| Madge Tozer, dated at St. Louis,
| containing information in relation
to his nephew, Ralph Tozer, which
he has been anxiously awaiting for
some time. Mr. Tozer resid:d in
San Francisco at the, time of the
earthquake. Miss Tozer writes
that their home and all its contents
were destroyed. Theirs was one
the houses that was dynamited in
order to arrest the progress of the
flames. Mr Tczer was a newspaper
man and edited the Sporting Jour-
nal. He had also written a book,
the manuscript of which was de-
stroyed. He sees no prospect of
resuming business in SanFrancisco
and will probably locate at Seattle
