versation and repast will be a
happy memory in all of the years

the Catholic fair in Elsbree Opera
House last evening. The music by
the Packer band was fine and after
the prizes were awarded, the young
people engaged in a social up to a
late hour. There will be a grand
musical program tonight.
MIS-DIRECTED LETTERS
There have been some complaints
sent to the postoffice department
of persons sending letters to Mill-|
town, West Sayre and East Ath
ens that they have been delayed
in reaching their destination. This
is wholly the fault of the persons |
misdirecting such letters, There |
are no postoffices in the places
mentioned above. The letters in
tended for Milltown and West
Sayre should be directed to the
Sayre postoffice with the street
and number distinctly wntten in
the superscription. Those intended
for East Athens should be directed
to the number of the R. F. D. route
inscribed thereon. The mail mes
town, West Sayre or East Athens
on their route list and can not
know where to throw off such
mail, and the consequence 1s that
it 1s carned beyond its destination
while the location is being studied |
out. Mail agents and postmasters |
are not mindreaders and conse |
quently not able to learn the nem
meaning.
