The ladies of St. Joseph's church
will open a bazaar at Elsbree opera
house Monday. Supper will be
served from 5:30 to 7 Monday.
There will be attractions each even-
ing and all should attend.
Lewis Schrier Sr., and wife, went
to Bagota, N |, today, where they
will remain with their daughter,
Mis. W. R. Leers, four weeks, and
Mrs. Schrier will remain there dur-
ing the summer, Mr. Schrier will
visit New York, Staten Island and
other cities on his way home.
The canoeists of this vicinity are
contemplating building a canoe
club house on the Susquchanna
accommodating light canoes. There
arc some fine boats being pur-
chased and manufactured for our
sporting fraternity and this boat
house will be just the thing needed.
