frost, and unless the weather
changes there is likely to be

Itis said that preparations are
being made for a busy summer in
the anthracite trade. The suspen-
sion of work has placed the coal
industry in a healthy state.

vanced. This will be unwelcome
news to the Sayre housewife who

Many railroad men are of the
belief that the retiring age should
be placed at 50 years, instead of
60. Many accidents are said to
have been due to the negligence of
men who have been too long in
the service.

timber lying alongside the Lehigh
Valley tracks on the trestle just
outside of Ithaca little Vivian
Seneca, a girl ten years old, saved

home, 108 Olive street at 7 o'clock
yesterday morning, aged 38 years.
| He had been sick since early last

| of his life, where he has worked at

take place from his late home to
