James Smith received a

ing and he states that he has
settled down in Oklahoma and is
getting a good patronage and at
good prices. Mrs. Smith expects
to go therein June and they will

E. NERCUR FROST
Athens—E Mercur Frost died
last night at 10:15 o'clock at the
home of his sister, Mrs. George W.
Miller. He was born in Rome,
Pa, August 25, 1848, and came to
Athens 27 years ago last fall, where
he engaged in the furniture busi-
ness with his father, E. N, Frost
His father died in 1886 and after
that he was associated with his
mother, Mrs. Sarah Frost until in
1891, when Ralph Tozer purchased
the business and Mr. Frost contin-

years but during the fall and winter
had recovered partially, He was
able to be out of doors Saturday
but had a severe attack of liver
complaint of which he died, He
leaves a widow, one daughter, Mrs.
