Coe M. Brink, a well known Lehigh Valley fireman, died sud- denly this forenoon about 11:30 o'clock at his home No. 312 South Lehigh avenue, from the effects of an overdose of aconite. Just how he came to take the drug will probably never be known, but it is presumed that he had mistaken it for laudanum, with which latter drug he had been bathing an ul- cerated tooth for several days A day or two ago Mr. Brink began to suffer severe pain in the side of his face, and he called Dr. C.J). Cummings.” The phy:ician advised him to poultice the face ind diagnosed the condition as neuralgia arising from an ulcera- tion at the root of a tooth. This morning Mr. Brink remained in bed nearly all the forenoon and about 11 o'clock his wife who was attedding to her duties on the firs floor heard her husband scream She went to his room and found him in convulsions. He was fect With Increased Service An important meeting of the Lehigh Valley railroad officials was held in New York city several days ago and a new time schedule was arranged to go into effect May i. With the new schedule Sayre will get the service of a fast train running between New York and Buffalo and upon a faster schedule than it formerly run, and a more those enroute to New York. Train No. 7 will replace No. 1. This will be a solid train from New York to Chicago. It will start from New York at 10:30 am, and will pass through Sayre about § o'clock.
