COURT NEWS Orse Carpenter, charged by a Mr. Wickizer with the larceny of a pail of butter, was acquitted by a jury at Towanda yesterday There was only one witness for the prosecution. He swore that while Wickizer's wagon was standing on the streets in Athens, Carpenter extracted a pail of choice dairy butter therefrom, and proceeded to carry it away.
