The Emma Bunting repertoire
of Earl Burgess, who 16 years ago
resided in Waverly, opened a
week's engagement in the Loomis
last night. The Princess of Patches
was presented, and in spite of the
fact that the bill has been seen
in the valley time and again, a
ance. Miss Bunting, who is a
favorite among the theatre goers
in this section, was as captivating
as ever, and she is supported by
clever company. Last night's
play was creditably presented from
a dramatic standpoint and was
thoroughly enjoyed by the audi-
ence. An excellent scenic equip-
ment is carried by Mr. Burgess,
and the engagement of his com-
pany at the Loomis will no doubt
prove successful. Several high
class specialties are introduced
between acts and add greatly to
