petition filed with the railroad commis
sjouers here Ly the Enterprise Trans
portation cvwpauny
The petitiva recites that snnecessary

the public by the refusal of the rall-|
road company to accept and honor bag- |
gage checks issued by the transporta-
tics company and to allow the porters
of the petitioning company to get bag-
gage npou its arrival in Fall River and
that the railroad company has estab
lished a fare of $3 for passengers be
tween New York and Boston via the
Old Colony Steamboat company’s line
and a fare of $1.00 between New York
and Fall River, making the fare be
tween Fall River apd Boston via the

cents, while the fare charged via the
Euterprise Transportation company be
tween Fall River and Boston is $1.20,
The petitioner considers this unfair
and unreasonable and a prima face
evidence of discrimination. The com-
pany asks the cowmissioners to com
pel the railroad company to honor the
baggage checks of the transportation
company and to recomend that the
fare between Fall River and Bostou be |
