AF & CO,
AT THE BAPTIST CHURCH
Waverly—A very fine musical
program has been prepared for the
service at the Baptist church to-
morrow evening. There will be
three numbers by the choir:

2. Send out Thy Light
Gounod

A male quartet and a mixed

WILL COMMENCE WORK SOON
appointed at the last meeting of
the Manoca temple association to
act with the president in the matter
of the method of remodeling the
building, held a meeting Thursday
afternoon at the office of Judge
Hoagland and decided to employ
L. F. Lord as superintendent, and
to have the work done by the day.
Mr. Lord has already ordered
part of the necessary material, and
work will be commenced as soon
it arrives
BE ARRIVED T00 LATE
Waverly—One of the gentlemen
who attended the entertainment at
the Baptist church last evening
arrived late and had considerable
trouble finding his wife. The
lights were out when he came in
and he found a seat beside a lady
whom he supposed was his better
half but was made aware of his
mistake when he attempted to con-
verse with her. It was necessary
to enlist the services of a friend
before he finally located the partner
of his joys and sorrows.
AROSE IMMEDIATELY
sat in the pail of water, but arose
immediately.
SURPRISE PARTY
Waverly—Miss Fannie Freed-
man was given a surprise party
last evening at her home on Park
Place. Fifteen of her friends were
responsible for the event, which
was very enjoyable. The evening
was passed in playing games and
by various other amusements,

scason promises to be onc of the
best in the history of Sayre. In
fact dealers who handle holiday
novelties are making preparations
for a record breaking trade. One
sure way of realizing this is to use
the columns of the Daily Record
extensively. The Record is the
best salesman in this valley. This
statement has been proven time
and time again. In fact the mer-
chants are coming to look upon it
as an indispensible necessity in the
conduct of their business. The
wise merchant will begin now to
advertise his holiday line. Better
look this matter up, Mr. Merchant;
it means loss of money to procras-
tinate. >

mitted to the hospital today and
