On Pictures WANTED TO FIGHT Waverly—A certain individual partook of a large quantity of dis- tilled spirits last evening. This caused bis imagination to expand until he conceived the idea that he was equal to the task of threshing the greater portion of the inhabi- tants of Waverly and he showed a desire to do it. After prowling about for a time seeking whom he might devour he was discovered by officer Corcoran and placed in the town hall. The night spent in the invirons of the cage gave him time to become $30 and penitent and he was allowed to go this morning. ———————— OLD RESIDENT DEAD Waverly—Henry Bunnell a farmer living at Talmadge hill, died at his home yesterday. De ceased had resided in that place for 36 years, was widely known and had many friends throughout this secticn. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Frank of Lock- wood, and Walter of Talmadge hill, and a daughter Maude. Funeral service will take place at the house next Sunday alter- noon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Peter R. Ross officiating. Interment in Tioga Point cemetery, Athens. ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT Waverly—There will be an en- tertainment at the high school hall this evening by the New York Concert Co.
