Justice of the Peace John R.
Murray Expired at an Early
Hour This Morning After an
Illness of Several Weeks
John R. Murray, one of Sayre's
oldest and best known citizens
died at his home, No. 116 South
Elmer avenue, this morning at
145 o'clock. The immediate
cause of death was heart failure!
due to a complication of diseases |
with which he had been afflicted
for some time.
The death of Mr, Murray will
come as a severe shock to the ma-
Jority of his many friends in Sayre,
although those who were intimate-
iy rcquaiated with him were aware |
some time ago that the physicians
who were attending him had little
hopes of his recovery. Early in
September last he began to fail, |
and was able to be at his office on |
Desmond street only a part of the
time. Since the first of October
