| distance telephone call from Ithaca
announces a injury that
happened to O:rin White, a tele-
phone lineman, at 4:30 yesterday
alternoon. White was employed by

and was engaged in line work at
the top of a high pole when his
belt broke and he was prec ipitated
to the frozen ground 335 feet below

DEATH OF MRS. DUNN
Waverly—Mrs. Charles
whose residence was 4535 E Broad}
Waverly, died yesterday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mercy
hospital at Wilkes Barre. rs.
Dunn was operated upon for can-
cer a few days ago, and while her
confidently hoped
for she was unable to withstand
the shock. Deceased had resided
in Waverly for the past 30 years,
was widely known in this vicinity
and leaves a large circle of friends
to mourn her loss
She is survived by her husband,
four sons, John, Charles, Thomas
and William, and four daughters
